Well, that's me, Ulrika – a Stockholm-based photographer with an international perspective and a passion for storytelling. My journey to Sweden began a few years ago when my family and I relocated here, following my partner's career path. Having lived in various countries across Europe and Asia, we've finally found our place to call home.

Falling in love with Sweden was easy for us to do. The people, the nature, the architecture and design, it’s all (still) special to us. In my photography, I’m trying to capture this magic of our surroundings - the red house in the background, the pattern of the table cloth, the wallpaper, the fresh bread that you could almost still smell. It’s all part of the memory.
While I may not be a fan of traditional studio settings, preferring instead the authenticity and spontaneity of natural environments, there are occasions where a studio space proves invaluable, especially here in Sweden where the weather can be unpredictable. However, I've found a unique solution to this dilemma by offering photo sessions in the comfort of my own home.

While some photographers prioritize gear above all else, my focus lies elsewhere – in capturing the perfect light and moment. However, I understand the importance of equipment to many, so allow me to share a bit about my gear!
My primary camera is the Sony A7iii, a professional-grade full-frame camera known for its exceptional performance. I prefer to shoot with versatile 35mm and 70mm lenses, allowing me to capture a wide range of perspectives and compositions.
Although I'm not a fan of flash photography and strive to utilize natural light whenever possible, I've learned to adapt to the challenges of Sweden's dark winters. As a result, I keep an external Godox flash in my bag for sessions in my home studio and newborn shoots, ensuring that I can achieve optimal lighting conditions even in challenging environments.
