Mothers often confide in me about feeling invisible in family photographs. Despite being the ones behind the camera, they find themselves absent from the images, relegated to the sidelines while documenting countless memories of their loved ones. ….and some very special places! Some mommy & me portraits, I take in the same location every year. This way, we get to focus on what is changing - the little baby, growing up, while keeping the surroundings at a constant. Sometimes, it's also fun to explore different locations.
